SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY

At Total Wrecking & Environmental, work-site safety is our number one priority on each national demolition and environmental remediation job site. Our superior safety record is a result of extensive preparation, a professional and industry-leading safety program, and high quality performance every step of the way. Our company promotes and encourages safety on the job site as an absolute necessity by holding daily kickoff meetings with every crew member detailing every single task and subtask to be performed. Not only is our mission to protect the safety of our teams, it’s of utmost importance to protect the local community we’re serving.

“I would be remiss if I failed to mention that both projects were completed by Total Wrecking without a single increased cost change order, and with an unwavering commitment to safety, ensuring that all aspects of the projects were carried out with the highest regard for the well-being of all personnel involved. Their emphasis on safety measures and protocols created a secure working environment, which undoubtedly contributed to the successful completion of the project.”

IN-HOUSE SAFETY PROGRAM

Total Wrecking and Environmental conducts its operations safely by promoting actions and policies to reduce or eliminate hazards well beyond what is required by construction industry standards.

Total employs a full time Safety Director to oversee safety training, and to ensure full implementation of the Total Wrecking Corporate Health and Safety Program on all national demolition and environmental abatement projects. Our comprehensive training program outlines each staff member’s individual safety responsibilities, and ensures that our entire staff is not only aware of the hazards within and surrounding our work environment, but also that they are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to reduce or eliminate hazards. This program extends well beyond Total Wrecking’s own forces. Every Subcontractor and Supplier contract includes a requirement for full acceptance and participation in the Total Wrecking Health and Safety program:
• Over 30 comprehensive safety training programs
• In-house certifications
• Work recognition programs
• Safety committee

“TW performed all of its work professionally and safely in this remote location and did so with no accidents or injuries. Total Wrecking’s performance on the project was overall exceptional and ECC would highly recommend Total Wrecking & Environmental, LLC for any demolition or environmental project needs in the future.”

Rick Woodworth
Sr. Project Manager – Environmental Chemical Corporation
